Nova Films & Foils Inc. can provide you with a wide variety of unique and custom coated materials. Our in-house capabilities allow us to handle films such as polypropylene & vinyl to various foils including: aluminum, copper, nickel, stainless steel, tin, and brass. As a specialty resource, we offer our extensive experience to work with you on the development of new product solutions with the following services. Nova Films & Foils Inc has in-house capabilities to quickly coat films, papers, foils, and metals with aqueous based pressure sensitive adhesives and/or heat activated coatings. We can apply water-based, adhesive, heat seal, or other coatings from 28" up to 61" in width on a variety of substrates. We will work with you to develop custom specifications with coat weight capabilities ranging from 1/2 mils to 5 mils. Our coating capabilities include:
- 28" Reverse - Roll Coater
- 61" Reverse - Roll Coater
- Coating Widths: 28" to 61"
In addition to Toll Coating of Customers' materials, Nova Films & Foils Inc. also provides proprietary pressure sensitive adhesives of its own. We can offer you uniquely engineered double-coated and transfer tapes for graphic arts and industrial uses.
Nova Films & Foils Inc. can work with you to develop custom laminated products by using pressure sensitive adhesives to bond dissimilar substrates for unique permanent laminate constructions. These substrates may include paper, film, foam, rubber, foil or metal combinations bonded together with a variety of adhesives to achieve the properties you desire. We can laminate up to 72" wide.
You can depend on Nova Films & Foils Inc. for precision slitting. We offer custom slitting using a variety of slitting techniques. We can slit 62" width material. Nova has the capability to slit films, papers, foils, and metals from thicknesses of 1/2 mils to 50 mils and widths of 1/8" and up depending on the substrate. Our standard slitting capabilities are:
- Widths: 0.125" up to 60"
- Gauges: 0.00025" up to 0.050"
Nova Films & Foils Inc can sheet foil and metal laminates or pressure sensitive products into a variety of sheet sizes. Sheeting capabilities include:
- Sheeting: 48" wide by 144" long
- Cut-to-Size: Cut pieces down to 1.5"x1.5"
